What is Emergency Care?

Also referred to as "Accident and Emergency" and "Emergency room" and emergency department (ED), accident & emergency (A&E), emergency room (ER), or casualty department, is a medical treatment facility specializing in acute care of patients who present without prior appointment, either by their own means or by ambulance. Outpatient Care facilities also include Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) services, which include Ayurveda, Chiropractic, Hijama (cupping), Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Osteopathy, Therapeutic Massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Unani Medicine.
