Difference between PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Technical, Functional and Techno-Functional

What is the difference between people soft Technical, Functional and Techno-Functional? What is Technical people's work? What is Functional people's work? What is Techno-Functional people's work? Please help in understand these concepts in day to day language as I am not an ERP Expert.

Understanding the roles and transition to Techno-Functional Role:

A functional ERP Consultant is expected to knows the rules according to which the software should work, its functional architecture and its configurations and the business functionalities it can cater to whereas the technical ERP consultant is responsible for development and coding so that the ERP package works as recommended by the business people and provide custom code to solution business functionalities that cannot be addressed by the out of box package. For example functional expert will say that a particular report should pick data from A,B, C tables and format it in a particular way and present in the format prescribed by him, now the Technical guy will code the software so that the report can be run and produced in the same format as told by the functional person. Techno-Functional is a guy who can perform both the above activities.

PeopleSoft Functional is a guy who knows the business domain and business rules, he has the ability to understand the customer business processes and can map them to PeopleSoft, identify the gaps can define the standard rules, perform the setups and the configurations required at PeopleSoft end. He is responsible for collecting the requirements and solution them by making configurations in the PeopleSoft.

PeopleSoft Technical Guy is the Person who knows how to code in PeopleSoft to execute the requirement. PeopleSoft Technical expert is conversant with the PeopleSoft tools like App Designer, PeopleCode SQR and App Engine.
